Live Out The Gospel & Invest In The Kingdom

Wherever you are at in your journey with Jesus, we encourage you to go deeper. Whether that’s taking the first step and getting baptized, practicing generosity through giving, volunteering, or pursuing deeper discipleship.

Families, Youth & Children

At Island Church, we care deeply about the next generation and the families raising them.

  • Youth

We at Island Church Youth exist to make true students of Jesus, guiding the youth of this community toward truth, hope and a deep and meaningful relationship with Jesus. We hang out every Tuesday night sharing a meal, playing games, listening to teaching and diving deeper in small groups. Hours change depending on summer or school year. Check out the calender, our Instagram or contact Evan for more info!

    School Year Hours:

    6-8 Grade: 6:15-8:00pm

    9-12 Grade: 8:00-9:30pm

    Summer Hours:

  • Children

On Sunday mornings at Island Church, we have the perfect space for those fifth-grade and younger. Whether it’s elementary Sunday school, preschool, or nursery. We’ve got you covered! Our kids stay in the service for worship but are dismissed before the sermon. Find our check-in desk in the lobby and if you need any help finding where to go, ask a greeter!

  • Littles & Me

Need a space to bring your 0-5 year-olds for socializing and fun? Maybe you’re a parent or guardian who needs the same! Every Thursday from 10am-12pm we have the perfect space available for this. Come and socialize with others and their kids. Email Liz for more info.

  • Family Nights

These semi-regular events are put on for families with young children. There are different themes for different seasons, but they’re always free and everyone is welcome! Check the calendar or contact Liz to see if one is coming up soon!

Adult Ministries

We host various Bible studies and other events for adults of all ages. Check out what there is to engage in!

  • Young Adults

Affiliated with our church, but not direct ministries, are two options for young adults. Build Community is an infrequent gathering of young adults ranging from 18 to 30, who meet for a meal, go out for an activity, and just hang out together. Check out their Instagram for more info.

A separate young adults bible study is hosted twice a year through an outside group. Contact Evan to see if there is a study currently going on or coming up!

  • Alpha

While not set on a regular schedule, we do host Alpha when we can! Alpha is a great series to invite someone who is seeking and asking questions to. It runs for 11 weeks and is all video-based. Alpha has had great success around the world.

Check our calendar to see if one is coming up or for more info, contact Evan.

  • Grief Share

Dealing with losing a loved one is extremely difficult. Healthy community is of great importance to the grieving process. While no one can say when the best time is to choose Grief Share, its impact has been great. We encourage you, if you’ve recently lost a loved one or friend, to give Grief Share a try.

Check our calendar or contact the office for more info.

  • Hymn Sing

While we aim for the best blend of old and new on Sunday mornings, some may still want more older hymns! That’s great and this is exactly what our hymn sing events are for. Gather with others for a time of worship in the multipurpose room once a month on Sunday afternoons.
